Review: Moon Harbour cannot be imagined without Daniel Faulwasser aka Dan Drastic behind the scenes. However, he is becoming more and more interesting as a DJ and producer, too. In 2003 there was a first sign of life of him on the Berlin situated label Highgrade Records. In the last year he could score with his contribution to Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol. 2 “Somebody’s Touching Me”. „Slice of Life“ starts flirting with dub effects and with a gracefully built rhythm… With Johnny D., maybe the newcomer in 2008, a perfect man for remixing „Slice Of Life“ was found. As well as on his own EPs the Eritrea rooted but Mannheim based producer understands how to create a strong track with only a few sounds and a hypnotic rhythm.

Review: Impressed by Barack Obama’s speech in front of more than 200.000 people in Berlin, Germany on July 24th 2008, German producer Matt Flores was inspired to create a new Deep House track.
Using warm and driving beats, moving percussion and bass line, syncopated synth stabs and spheric pads, the arrangement keeps building until it climaxes into a break featuring an excerpt of before mentioned speech.
